Development Project
Silson Trust raises funds to help support Pastors and Missionaries in need of rest and recuperation, medical, funeral, or other similar expenses at times of need.
Funds for grants are raised by rental properties Silson Trust owns in Orewa. We plan to build up to a further 5 units on our site in Milton Rd, Orewa to increase rental income and therefore funds available for charitable grants.
The project is ambitious. Combined with climbing interest rates & construction costs, this project can only be achieved with substantial donations so as to bridge the gap between actual costs and the Trust’s maximum loan servicing capability. The Trust will take out a long-term mortgage to pay off the units when complete.
The cost to construct 5 units plus infrastructure is $2.9 million dollars.
